We supply units to steel reinforcing fiber reinforcement manufacturers, distributors and concrete product plants. After manufacturing the fibers the key requirement is to pack them as densely as possible in boxes or FIBCs (‘big bags’). For repacking, or in a concrete product plant the focus is on untangling the fibers and feeding them consistently to a packing unit or to the concrete mixing line.
When filling packaging the objective is to get the highest possible density of fibers, by aligning them with a magnetic field, however when emptying packaging and feeding fibers they have to be untangled. Weighpack has machines for both ends of the supply chain:
